June 24, 2025
Yura Dockyard Co., Ltd., a member of the TSUNEISHI Group, has reaffirmed its commitment marine environmental conservation by taking part in the “Refresh Setouchi” coastal clean-up initiative. As a company deeply rooted in the maritime industry, Yura Dockyard actively supports efforts to preserve ocean ecosystems and protect the natural environment.
The clean-up activity took place on Saturday, 7th June, at Ena Beach – an attractive coastal location popular with swimmers during the summer season. A total of 130 individuals participated, including local volunteers, representatives of nearby businesses, and members of community organisations. A significant number of Yura Dockyard employees also took part, some accompanied by family members, fostering closer ties with the local community.
Participants collected driftwood, seaweed, and other marine debris with care, gaining a deeper understanding of the impact of marine pollution. The experiencing served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of environmental protection and community engagement.
Yura Dockyard and the TSUNEISHI Group remain committed to environmental stewardship and will continue working towards the realisation of a sustainable society through proactive involvement in marine conservation initiatives.
