MT-FASTEnergy-saving device with high fuel efficiency

Jointly developed with MTI Co., Ltd., MT-FAST is an energy-saving device that attaches multiple fins in front of the propeller to collect about 3% to 5% of the energy lost from rotational flow generated by the propeller rotations. This energy-saving device is not only popular for the newbuilding ships, but also for the existing ships as well, because it is compact, versatile, and easy to retrofit. In recognition of its contributions for reducing the environmental burden, it has already been installed in over 500 ships and received the 2018 Minister of Environment Award in Japan.

This TOP-GR is a unique propeller that designed by our exclusive technology through the computer simulation to optimize the performance for our ships. It boosts to improve not only the fuel efficiency, but also effectively reduce the fluctuation pressure which causes the vibration and noise.

FAISIncrease engine efficiency

FAIS (Fresh Air Intake System) is an air supply structure that improves engine combustion efficiency by directly intaking air from outside the ship. Lowering the temperature of the air supplied to the engine by approximately 10 degrees Celsius can improve fuel efficiency by about 1%.

The main engine is attached with two turbochargers, one large and one small to interchange the engine output. Such wide range of main engine outputs provides the high combustion efficiency and fuel efficiency, particularly when the ship is running in slow steaming mode.
