TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING INC. (TZS), as TSUNEISHI factory in China, proudly opened “Tsuneishi Sakura Park” on previously unused land surrounding its facility in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province.

TZS has identified approximately 8 hectares (about 13,000 square metres) of unused land around its facility, with a view to improving the local landscape and effectively utilising available resources. In 2021, the company launched the “Tsuneishi Sakura Park Development Project”, inviting a highly regarded landscape architect from Japan to lead the park’s design and planning.

The park’s design incorporates elements of traditional Japanese gardens, harmonized with the Tsuneishi Group’s core value of “Being one with the community”. Construction commenced in 2021 and the park officially opened in March 2025.
“Tsuneishi Sakura Park” is now open to the public free of charge, offering visitors the opportunity to relax and reconnect with nature. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of approximately 110 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Shidarezakura (weeping cherry).
