At 8:00 AM on March 30, 2025, the “Tsuneishi Shipbuilding・2025 Daishan Strait Half Marathon”, for which TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING INC.(TZS) served as the title sponsor, was successfully held at the Daishan County Gymnasium. On the day of the event, approximately 6,000 runners from across China gathered to enjoy the stunning scenery of Daishan Strait in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, as they ran along the course.

The “Tsuneishi Shipbuilding・2025 Daishan Strait Half Marathon” is an event that has been held since 2024 with the aim of promoting health and improving physical fitness. The event features three race categories: the Half Marathon (21 km), the Health Run (6 km), and the Family Run (6 km). The race starts at the Daishan County Gymnasium in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, China, and follows a scenic route along Daishan Strait. As the title sponsor, TZS has supported the event since its inaugural edition in 2024, with the goal of contributing to regional revitalization and promoting the health and well-being of its employees.

Led by TZS’s President and Director Murakami, a total of 240 employees and their families actively participated in the event. Employees who train regularly aimed to beat their personal bests, running smoothly and swiftly through the course. In the Family Run, where participants pass the sash to their family members and teammates, they demonstrated strong unity and teamwork, with all teams successfully crossing the finish line.
