Tsuneishi and Hiroshima University Reach Agreement on Comprehensive Research Partnership

June 3, 2004

Tsuneishi Corporation (Head Office: 1083 Tsuneishi, Numakuma-cho, Numakuma, Hiroshima, President: Katsushige Kambara) has set up an independent booth at Posidonia 2004, the international shipping exhibition, to be held from June 7th through 11th, 2004 in Piraeus, Greece, and will present the company and its business profile as well as its latest ship portfolios.

Following Norship 2003, held in Oslo, Norway last year, this is the second time that we have set up our own stand at an international shipping exhibition. By establishing our presence at Posidonia 2004 this year, we will further strive to boost the penetration of the global shipbuilding market of the Tsuneishi brand.

Tsuneishi has created an innovative presentation booth that comprises a mockup of our newly designed cabins, now being incorporated into the best-selling TESS Series ships starting this year. At the stand we will run a dynamic video showing our global business development in China and the Philippines, our high-quality shipbuilding technology, our quality strategy, as well as new ships such as Kamsarmax or TESS58, etc., to provide visitors a useful overview of Tsuneishi Corporation.

On Tuesday, June 8th during the event, we will also hold a reception party at the Hilton Hotel in Athens, where Company President Katsushige Kambara and other members of top management will welcome and hope to network with both customers and industry colleagues who are visiting the exhibition.

We have produced our own promotion video using the latest imaging technology for this presentation. The video will be shown at the exhibition booth and at the reception party venue.

We hope that you will find our video, which is also available on the Tsuneishi Corporation website, both interesting and informative.
