1 June 2026 – TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING INC. (TZS) participated in an ethnic cultural exchange event held under the theme “Pomegranate Blossoms in Full Bloom and Children Walking with a Shared Heart,” ahead of International Children’s Day. The event was hosted by the People’s Government of Xiushan Township, Daishan County, and the Xiushan Township Minor Protection Station. The event aimed to help children experience diverse cultures and deepen mutual understanding through a variety of hands-on activities, including traditional ethnic costumes and folk crafts.

As a gesture of support for the healthy growth and well-being of local children, TZS prepared 366 gift sets of confectionery. On the day, these gifts were presented by Ms XIA Qilei, Deputy Manager of the General Affairs Department at TZS, alongside Ms HUANG Kana, Director of the Xiushan Township Social Management Office, and Ms RONG Xia, Principal of the Xiushan Township Kindergarten.

Under its philosophy of “Being one with the community”, TZS will continue to support the healthy development of children, who represent the next generation, through a range of social contribution activities as a responsible member of the local community.

International Children’s Day was established on 1 June during the World Conference for the Well-being of Children held in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1925. Following this global initiative, China officially designated 1 June as “June 1st International Children’s Day” (六一国際児童節) in 1949. To celebrate and support the healthy development of children, a variety of events and community initiatives are held across China each year.
