TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING is pleased to announce that canoe slalom athlete OKAZAKI Haruka, whom the company supports, won the 2026 Canoe Slalom Japan Cup – Kyokuyo Series Round 4, held in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture in August 2026.

・Event : Women’s Canoe Single (WC1)
・Result : 1st place (final time: 103.34 seconds, 9.37 seconds ahead of the runner-up)

“I am delighted to have won the race held recently in Yamaguchi. The warm support sent by so many of you, even from afar, gave me great strength — thank you very much. I have also been able to continue my domestic winning streak, and I feel I continue to grow with every race.
I am currently based in Spain for an overseas training camp, working to strengthen both my technique and my mental strength in a wonderful environment. I intend to make the most of everything I gain from this training and carry it forward into my next competition.

OKAZAKI’s next challenge will be at the 2026 ICF CANOE SLALOM WORLD CUP FINAL, to be held from 10–13 September 2026 in La Seu d’Urgell, Spain.
