TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING and Hiroshima University Hold FY2025 Joint Research Results Presentation

30 April 2026 – TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co., Ltd. held the FY2025 Joint Research Results Presentation with Hiroshima University at the company’s Safety Training Centre.

The annual presentation serves as an opportunity to share the outcomes of joint research projects conducted by TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING and Hiroshima University, while also confirming research directions for the following fiscal year. Since the collaboration began in 2004, the two organisations have continuously advanced industry-academia cooperation in areas including ship performance, structural design, and ship design and construction technologies.

In FY2025, a total of 16 research themes were undertaken across five fields: Performance, Structure, Outfitting, Digital Transformation (DX), and Environment. During the presentation, participants shared research findings and exchanged views on future technological development and innovation within the shipbuilding industry.

Through its ongoing collaboration with Hiroshima University, TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING continues to strengthen its technological capabilities and contribute to the advancement of sustainable shipbuilding technologies.
