TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Secures Naming Rights for the No.1 Lecture Room Aboard SEIUN MARU
16 January 2026 – TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING has been selected as the naming rights holder for the No.1 Lecture Room aboard the large training vessel SEIUN MARU, owned by the Japan agency of Maritime Education and Training for Seafarers (JMETS).
The naming rights programme will be implemented in collaboration with KAMBARA KISEN, a member of the TSUNEISHI Group. Under the agreement, the No.1 Lecture Room aboard the SEIUN MARU will be designated the “TSUNEISHI ROOM” for a three-year period from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029.
The name “TSUNEISHI ROOM” reflects the Group’s wish to contribute to the development of maritime professionals who support the future of the maritime industry. It was chosen in the hope that the Lecture Room will become a place where cadets training aboard SEIUN MARU can freely challenge themselves and grow together by deepening their knowledge and technical skills.
Through its shipbuilding activities, TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING has long contributed to the advancement of the maritime industry. This initiative further strengthens the Company’s collaboration with maritime education institutions and underscores its continued support for the development of the next generation of maritime professionals.
Further details will be announced once preparations, including the installation of the nameplate, have been completed.
