TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING is supporting children’s career development by introducing our company through teaching materials distributed to local elementary and junior high schools.
In Fukuyama City, where our headquarter is located, career education for elementary and junior high school students are done using “Job Notebook” and “Job Book” which help them become aware of local companies and occupations.
Those materials will be used at integrated studies classes for all third, fourth and eighth grader in Fukuyama City from April 2024.
One of the purposes of this project is to introduce local companies to students.
By learning about the types of companies that are active in the area where they live, students will not only acquire business knowledge, but also develop a sense of attachment to Fukuyama.
The educational materials also serve as a bridge between local companies and children by providing them with information useful for their career development through the appeal of local companies.
Through this distribution, a total of 11,000 children (approximately 8,000 third- and fourth-grade students and 3,000 second-grade students) became more familiar to Tsuneishi Shipbuilding as one of the local companies.
Through knowing and becoming familiar to Tsuneishi Group, we hope those children will choose us as their carrier path.
