{"id":417,"date":"2024-09-25T10:45:44","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T01:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/?post_type=community&#038;p=417"},"modified":"2024-09-25T10:46:35","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T01:46:35","slug":"emergency-supply-transport-drill-at-the-yura-dock","status":"publish","type":"community","link":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/community\/emergency-supply-transport-drill-at-the-yura-dock\/","title":{"rendered":"Emergency Supply Transport Drill at the Yura Dockyard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In January 2024, an Emergency Supply Drill was held at Yura Dockyard (Wakayama Prefecture).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was a part of Port Networking Project for Disaster Support (Inochi-no-Minato Project) which is public-private joint program led by MLIT Kinki Branch and Wakayama Prefecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of this drill was to raise awareness of disaster prevention and strengthen disaster response capabilities.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/B-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/B-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/B-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/B-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/B-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/B.jpg 2016w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><figcaption>\u25b2Disaster prevention training<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity was practiced under the scenario of a large-scale landslide in Hidaka region of Wakayama Prefecture, cutting off land transportation and the water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Yura Dockyard can be accessed from the sea, it was used as a support hub for the affected area.<br><br>A total of 100 people from the national and local governments, as well as media companies, participated in this drill, and several port operation boats were deployed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yura Dockyard had also joined as a support role, for example, supporting the landing of ships, and lifting of relief supplies by slinging and carrying them in and out.<br><br>In January 2024, a strong earthquake hit the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, and many people were affected.<br>The disaster such as earthquake was reminded us of the cruelty of earthquakes, which can strike at any time and in any place.<br>Because we cannot predict when &#8220;the time&#8221;comes, we were reminded the importance of being prepared on a daily basis.<br>Participation in this practical disaster drill was extremely meaningful for our company.<br><br>TSUNEISHI Group will continue our efforts to raise disaster awareness, prepare to play a role in case of disaster, and contribute to the region and society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":411,"template":"","community_category":[],"class_list":["post-417","community","type-community","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","entry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/community\/417","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/community"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/community"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/411"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=417"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"community_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.tsuneishi.co.jp\/esg\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/community_category?post=417"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
