To mitigate the risks of an oil spill into the ocean from a seagoing vessel, air vent piping for a fuel oil tank has been devised.
By arranging the air vent piping of a fuel oil tank so as to cross towards the bow/stern on the exposed deck, fuel oil is prevented from being ejected from the moving ship in stormy weather.
