New Facility for Training – Start Management of Accommodation Training Facility The Sanwa-no-Mori Resort & Conference Center

September 12, 2007

TSUNEISHI Holdings Corporation (head office: 1083 Tsuneishi Numakuma-cho Fukuyama-city Hiroshima, CEO: Katsushige Kambara) launched full scale management of an accommodation training center, the Sanwa-no-Mori Resort & Conference Center, featuring a conference room that can accommodate 120, 5 discussion rooms, and 70 resort hotel style rooms for both short and long-term guests, as a new base for education in human resources.

The Sanwa-no-Mori Resort & Conference Center was formerly the resort Winds Court Hotel, built in 1991. 450 million yen were spent in remodeling the hotel to make it an ideal training facility. In addition to providing resort level comforts, the Sanwa-no-Mori offers all the services and functions required for training sessions and conferences, including chairs specially designed to combat fatigue, lighting systems suitable to a variety of meeting formats, and the latest in audio-visual equipment.

The 5 discussion rooms (capacity: 10 to 12 people) are named Dantotsu (Best By Far),” Aggressive, Matsuri (Festival), Vision, and Value Chain, all keywords for the Tsuneishi Group’s corporate philosophy. Tsuneishi Spirit evokes the feeling of a school festival. The discussion rooms provide unique spaces, including a wallboard where people can outline their ideas, an indoor rock climbing wall, and the Joba fitness machine, simulating the motions of horseback riding.

3 of the 6 western style single rooms feature special a good-sleep system, developed by Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd. In these rooms, sound, light, temperature, and mattress pressure are automatically controlled to ensure a perfect night’s sleep. There are only 30 of these systems in existence, and 3 of them are here at the Sanwa-no-Mori Resort & Conference (as of July 14th, 2007).

The Tsuneishi Group has already used this training center for their “Leader Training Program,” for leaders including Tsuneishi Group’s executives. From August, the local Jinseki-Kogen town’s economic organization began using the facility, and as well as serving as the Tsuneishi Group’s own training facility, the Center will be promoted to other companies and organizations, mainly in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions.
