She is the second ship in our TESS52 standard series. The ceremony was held under a beautiful sunny sky, with more than 400 visitors from nursery schools, elementary schools and nursing homes. She slowly slid down the slipway to make a successful launch.

Characteristics
(1) Equipped with four deck cranes (30 metric tonne capacity) for cargo handling at docks that lack loading facilities.

(2) A wide hatch opening for long cargoes such as steel pipes, as well as bulk cargoes.

(3) In accordance with the above characteristics (1) and (2), this type of ship is called a Handymax Bulk Carrier, reflecting its wide range of purposes and easy handling.

(4) Owing to its MO classification code, the engine room does not require the presence of crewmembers during the journey.

(5) Fuel consumption is reduced by energy-saving features such as our original TESS hull design and other equipment, including the NKK Surf-bulb for increased propulsion efficiency mounted on a rudder to the rear of the tail screw.
