This is a 52,300-dwt bulk carrier. Some 100 visitors came from a nursery school, an elementary school and a nursing home in neighborhood to watch the ceremony. These visitors were very excited to witness the huge ship slide down the berth just in front of them.

Characteristics
(1) This vessel is one of our TESS series.
(2) Each of the five cargo holds is equipped with a hydraulically driven folding hatch cover.
(3) Equipped with four 30 metric tonne hydraulic deck cranes for cargo handling at docks that lack loading facilities.
(4) The tank top inside the cargo hold is designed to be wide enough to allow easy loading and unloading of steel pipes and lumber. All the cargo holds can be loaded with two tiers of hot coils.
(5) A fuel-efficient long-stroke MAN B&W 6S50MC is adopted as the main engine.
